About Lena

Lena’s art journey began when she was 13 years old and browsing YouTube tutorials. She started by drawing people, exploring various mediums like acrylic paint and gouache, and later expanded into digital art.

Lena received her BFA in Design from Cornish College and joined the Art Toolkit shop team shortly after. Working at Art Toolkit has inspired her to add watercolor to her media repertoire! She shared some of her art with us, including a ballpoint pen piece of our beloved Fort Worden State Park that took five pens to complete and a charcoal portrait of the base of a pumpkin; both of these pieces are 32" x 24" drawings which contrast with her smaller watercolor and gouache bookmarks and sketches.

Lena has also been experimenting more with gouache and watercolors, and was happy to share some of her more recent works with us, too!
