Explore Metallic Paints

Ambassador Sophia Trinh loves adding sparkle to her art, so we asked for her input, and are excited to announce the addition of three new metallic paints to our selection of Daniel Smith watercolors, so now we have five in total!

• Duochrome Violet Pearl
• Interference Silver
• Iridescent Blue Silver
• Iridescent Bronze
• Iridescent Gold

Use them to bring a little sparkle to your painting, from some shimmer on a beetle’s back and stars in the sky to moonlight reflected on water and twinkling city lights. Play with the cool-toned hues of silver, violet pearl, and blue silver to add some bling to fresh snow and the warm-toned gold and bronze to add glimmer to autumn leaves.

We’ve been playing with these new (to us) paints and are excited to paint more iridescent creatures like butterflies, beetles, mussels, and mollusks soon! Enjoy!
