Summer Sketching at Finnriver

This local farm and cidery is a beautiful location for plein air sketching and trialing new supplies!

In July, we co-hosted a Sketch & Sip with Finnriver Farm & Cidery in Chimacum, Washington at the junction of U.S. Route 19 and Center Road. Folks from around the valley joined in demoing art supplies and sipping local cider while sketching scenes of the orchard and ciderhouse pavilion. We were graced with warm air, golden late-afternoon light, and delicious smells from the Finnriver Kitchen and Dented Bouy’s wood-fired pizzas.

Then, this past weekend, we were invited to set up a table of supplies and enjoy a glorious late-summer afternoon for the Jefferson County Farm Tour. We love witnessing families and folks passionate about local farming and agriculture come together. The annual event offers opportunities to learn about our local food and products directly from the farmers who steward our lands. We were excited to be present with supplies for people to capture their sunny Sunday on the farms! Thank you for having us, Finnriver!
